From there, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you’ll make a memorable stop at the Equator, where you can take stunning photographs and enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant. This iconic landmark offers the perfect opportunity to stand with one foot in the northern hemisphere and the other in the southern hemisphere. After your visit to the Equator, you’ll have another stopover for lunch in Mbarara and then continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your lodge, where you can relax and unwind before your exciting safari activities begin.

Start your day with an exhilarating morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll explore diverse habitats ranging from savannahs to wetlands. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and numerous antelope species. The early morning hours are perfect for observing animals as they are most active, and you’ll enjoy the breathtaking views of the park’s stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. After your adventures in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll begin your transfer back to Kampala, a journey that typically takes around 6-7 hours. Your guide will pick you up from your lodge, and as you travel, you’ll enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, lush farmland, and charming villages. Along the way, there will be opportunities for refreshments and picturesque photo stops, including sights of Lake Albert and the distant Rwenzori Mountains.
