The 4 days gorilla flying safari and Lake Bunyonyi is one of the best short trips. It is crafted for you to explore Mgahinga Gorilla National Park a home to both mountain gorillas and golden monkeys; Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Africa with 29 scenic islands. Your journey begins from Entebbe Airport/Kajjansi airfield and ends in Entebbe/Kampala.
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe Airport Uganda/Kajjansi airfield to Kisoro airstrip
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and later, transfer to Entebbe airport/Kajjansi airfield for your flight to Kisoro airstrip. Arrive at Kisoro airstrip early and connect to Mgahinga to check in at your gorilla safari lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Mgahinga & drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Breakfast early morning and after, be at Mgahinga park offices ready with your pack of snacks and bottled water. Get briefed on things to do and not to do then you will be allocated to park ranger guide. He/she takes you on a trail to search for Nyakagezi, the only group that is open for gorilla trekking in Mgahinga. Enjoy the less crowded trek for 2-6 hours and once you find this family, you will have 1 hour to take pictures, learn about their daily behaviors.
Return to be awarded with a gorilla tracking certificate and later transfer to gorilla lodge to relax. After lunch if you didn’t have, leave Mgahinga for Lake Bunyonyi. Have a relaxed evening on the beautiful shores of the lake, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi & transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After enjoyable breakfast, go enjoy a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi in Southwestern Uganda. Lake Bunyonyi is East Africa’s deepest lake and it is second deepest in the whole of Africa. Take a canoe ride to one of the islands on this beautiful lake, sight birds and general spectacular view of it then return.
Check out of the lodge and leave for Lake Mburo National Park about 5 hours and 30 minutes’ drive, lunch will be enjoyed en-route. Upon arrival, relax and later, go for exciting boat cruise on Lake Mburo a home to interesting aquatic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles.

Day 4: Game drive & return to Entebbe or Kampala
Rise up for a delicious morning cup of tea or coffee and later, vacate your lodge. Go explore and experience the savannas of Lake Mburo National Park on a game drive for 2-3 hours. This rewards you with unforgettable sight of zebras, giraffes, lions, birds, antelopes among others. Get back to have lunch and check out then drop off to Entebbe/Kampala but have en-route stop visit at Equator crossing.
